APIs and services that hold up under real traffic: clear contracts, enforced authorisation, and behaviour you can reason about when something goes wrong at 2am.

Pipelines that move data reliably, and the checks that tell you when they have not. Most data problems are discovered far too late — the fix is to make quality observable.

My work sits between engineering and research: building systems that make data trustworthy, and applying machine learning to problems where correctness and explainability matter more than raw accuracy.
How data-quality expectations can be expressed, checked continuously and surfaced early enough to act on — covering validation rules, anomaly and schema-drift detection, and the workflows that follow a failed check.
